I used purple heart and buckeye burl to create a complete original. The box is bright and vibrant with lots of room for jewelry or trinkets. I finished the box in gloss lacquer and flocked the drawers with black fibers. The drawers are lush and the fibers are securely in place. The buckeye burl inlays on the top of the box add a wonderful touch and showcase craftsmanship. Perfect for a desk or end table the box will last generations with proper care and light maintenance. To keep the bright color keep the purple heart away from direct sunlight and and keep clean with any furniture polish. The box measures 13 inches wide x 6 and a half inches deep x 8 and a quarter inches tall and weighs 10 pounds. Keep in mind that this box is much larger than most bandsaw boxes listed on etsy or made by most craftsman.
